Summer on the Cornish coast
Your Cornish summer starts here.
Summer is when the coast around Looe and Polperro is at its best. The days are long, the harbour is buzzing, the beaches are calling, and the water is warm enough for a swim — including in our own heated outdoor pool. It's the season for slowing down, getting out in the fresh air, and enjoying a proper few days away together.
Foxes Lair and Hedgehogs Home at Granite Henge, Trelawne Cross, sit just outside Looe and a short drive from Polperro. Both are warm, self-catering retreats with two bedrooms and space for up to four — an easy, comfortable base for families (and couples, too) to explore South East Cornwall over the summer holidays. The shared outdoor heated pool is open right through from 1 May to 30 September.
