Easter Bank Holiday Stays
The Easter four-day weekend (Good Friday through Easter Monday) marks the arrival of spring on the Cornish coast. It's an invigorating time for coastal walks along the South West Coast Path, browsing the shops and galleries in East Looe, and taking unhurried family strolls through the narrow lanes of Polperro.
Swimming pool status: Closed over Easter
The shared outdoor heated pool reopens on 1 May, so it is not open during Easter stays. Spring breaks at this time focus on coast, countryside and comfortable evenings.

Early May Bank Holiday Stays
The Early May bank holiday is a special milestone at Granite Henge: on 1 May our shared outdoor heated swimming pool officially opens for the season. May days often bring brighter coastal light, wild gorse in bloom on the cliffs, and quieter beaches before the peak summer rush.
Swimming pool status: Open from 1 May
Guests staying over the Early May bank holiday can look forward to a dip in the heated outdoor pool, which stays open every day through 30 September.

Spring Bank Holiday Stays (Late May)
The late-May Spring bank holiday often coincides with the schools' May half-term. With longer daylight, warmer temperatures and the heated pool in full swing, it feels very much like early summer. Days can be spent crabbing off the Looe quayside, taking a scenic boat trip, or walking the cliffs before an afternoon swim.
Swimming pool status: Fully open & heated
The shared pool is in regular daily use throughout late May, providing an easy way for families and couples to cool off or enjoy an early-morning swim before heading out.

August Bank Holiday Holidays
The August bank holiday sits right in the heart of the Cornish summer. Looe beach and the harbour are in full summer mode, fish and chip shops are bustling, and long warm evenings make eating outside a treat. Back at Granite Henge, the heated pool offers a welcome respite from the busier beaches.
